Driven Minds, a UK-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being within motorsport and automotive communities, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming Driven Minds LMGT3 Challenge Season Two Powered by Coach Dave Delta. This 10-round sim racing championship, hosted by the Global Racing Drivers Club (GRDC), is set to commence on 2nd June 2025, on the Le Mans Ultimate (LMU) platform.
This collaboration aims to integrate mental health advocacy into the sim racing arena, fostering a supportive environment for drivers and fans alike. The championship will feature competitive racing, live broadcasts, and community engagement initiatives, all designed to highlight the importance of mental well-being in high-performance settings.
Partnering with the GRDC and Coach Dave Delta in this championship allows us to extend our mission into the virtual racing world. Sim racing, much like real-world motorsport, presents unique mental challenges. By embedding mental health awareness into this series, we aim to support drivers in developing resilience and fostering a community that prioritizes psychological well-being. After the success of the inaugural Willpower 6-hour Sim race, we couldn’t say no to being involved in this fantastic league!
Nick Ramsay-Gough, Driven Minds co-founder
I am really pleased to be working with Driven Minds as mental health is at the core foundation of what GRDC was built on, and sim racing is great way to build healthy mental fitness. Working with such a charity allows us to push forward with creating awareness and help support those in the community who may need professional assistance or just a friendly chat. On top of this there is the racing where we cater for everybody from those who are new on the track to very experienced racers and I know the whole community is excited for the upcoming season!
Craig Starkey, GRDC Founder
The championship will also include special initiatives such as giveaways of Coach Dave Delta subscriptions and trophies for top performers, further incentivizing participation and community building.
Driven Minds continues to lead efforts in mental health advocacy within motorsport, with previous initiatives like the Willpower 6-Hour Sim Race fundraiser and ‘TrackWalk & Talk’ events at UK circuits. This sponsorship marks another step in their commitment to supporting mental fitness across all racing platforms.
