Driven Minds Powers Forward with New Advisory Committee

Driven Minds CIC is shifting up a gear for 2025 with the formation of a brand-new advisory committee, bringing in fresh talent to help steer the organisation to new heights. Supporting directors Katie and Nick on this exciting journey are four passionate individuals: Rob Lewis, Faye Hatton, Charlie De-Moore, and Josh Walters. Each of them brings a unique skill set to the team, covering everything from events management and public relations to fundraising and marshal welfare.

This new team of experts will help fine-tune Driven Minds’ strategy, ensuring the organisation stays on track to make a real impact in the motorsport community. Katie and Nick are over the moon about this new support system, saying, “Having Rob, Faye, Charlie, and Josh onboard is a game-changer. Their passion, experience, and dedication to mental health in motorsport will be invaluable as we continue to grow and support those who need it most.”

So, what’s fueling these four as they take on their new roles?

Rob Lewis is driven by a deep belief in the importance of mental health support: “Driven Minds has a purpose that I feel very strongly about. You can go to a medical centre and get checked out for anything except the mind. The world is evolving and becoming more aware of mental health issues, and I believe Driven Minds will fill that gap—ensuring no one in motorsport has to suffer in silence.”

Faye Hatton is here to help smash the stigma around mental health, especially in male-dominated spaces: “It’s alarming that men face such a high risk of suicide, and I want to help change that. I’ll use my public relations and communications background to help raise awareness of Driven Minds. It’s an honour to be part of the team.”

Charlie De-Moore is all about making sure people feel comfortable opening up: “I’m passionate about talking about mental health within motorsport and the automotive world. Everyone in these circles should feel they can share their feelings in a free, non-judgmental environment. There must be solid support networks and guidance, and I believe Driven Minds will campaign for this.”

Josh Walters, a dedicated marshal, is ready to make sure volunteers aren’t left in the dust: “I joined Driven Minds to help promote the importance of positive mental health in motorsport. I have always loved racing, and getting involved as a marshal was a complete no-brainer for me! Representing marshals on the Driven Minds committee is a complete honour, ensuring that the offerings provided benefit everyone involved in motorsport, including us volunteers.”

With this dream team now in place, Driven Minds is fired up and ready to make an even bigger difference in 2025 and beyond.
